Housing Society

The primary goal of the Aboriginal Housing Society is to assist any person of Aboriginal heritage with opportunity to obtain and maintain suitable housing with the intention of developing capability toward home ownership. Our rent rate is at least 10% or more below fair market value for the rental units, and the objective is to generate resources to develop progressive housing opportunities for Native people that are comparable to most mainstream Canadian society. We have adopted a housing college concept where people are free to partner with us and learn how to increase their opportunity for increase quality and accessibility of housing from rental accommodations to home ownership.
